I always thought it would be neat to be able to connect to wifi by touching your phone to some sort of wifi key or set it on a special coffee table coaster or even touch the router itself instead of having to ask whoever set up the network to go dig up an old password sheet and type in a long string of characters for you. I just feel like that process could be improved. Once I found out that you could program your wifi information on an NFC tag and use that to add a network connection I immediately bought a few and designed something that would look nice in a home environment that I could put the tag in. The design is fairly simple and it only took me about a day to go from idea to final product. I will definitely make more of these in the future.
