Sword Fighting Robot Arms

Yep! You read that right. SWORD. FIGHTING. ROBOT. ARMS. The future in now. These robot arms are controlled by a triple axis accelerometer connected to an ARM embed microcontroller. The arms are driven by 4 separate 9g servo motors that run off of an external power source. Me and my partner laser cut all of the pieces for the arms from acrylic. When turned on, the arms will go to their set home positions and wait for the LED light sequence to complete before listening to the accelerometer for control input. The button on the controller board is used to swing the sword. The objective is to try and pop your opponent's balloon. I made a great video showcasing these arms with a hilarious WWE spin on them. Go check it out in the video library!
This was for my embedded systems design course... and I wanted to make this anyways.
